A Sabahan Idea Takes The Nation By Storm

It began five years ago when Dr Yee Moh Chai, a deputy chief minister, lamented that there was a card for all occasions but “we could never find a teacher’s day card.” So in 2006 a few schools took up his idea and organized a contest which drew 300 drawings from pupils for one. Twenty thousand of them in Malay, English and Chinese were printed and sent to teachers in their honour.
